• Auditions for children (over 6) and teens for The Wizard of Oz, The Upstagers summer musical, will be held today at 5 p.m. at the Paul Poag Theater.

• The Operation Graduation Planning Committee will meet today at 6:30 p.m. in the High School Cafeteria. All committee members are encouraged to attend. Volunteers are needed to help at Operation Graduation on June 6. Areas available are food prep, games, Black Jack Dealers, registration and more. • The San Felipe Class of 1970 will meet today at 6 p.m. at the San Felipe Exes Center on Garza and Mendez St. All class members are encouraged to attend. • The Val Verde County Democratic Party will hold their monthly meeting on June 3 at 6:30 p.m. at the Democratic Party Headquarters, 211 Lowe Dr. (behind the Bedell Post Office). • The San Felipe Amistad Lions will be having the last meeting for the Lopez term. Induction ceremony, banquet reservations and incoming officer spills. Mexican Pot Luck. June 4 at 7 p.m. at theTaini Hut.

The San Felipe Council 2687 will have their June Business meeting on June 4 at the KC Hall. It will be election night for the 2008 -2009 new officers. Request all members to be present. A Botana will be serve.
